hahaha can't believe I would say this since I used to LOVE the snow (back in the 4wheeldrive ownership days), but now I despise it and check the weatherchannel 3 times a day to see the long term forcast lol
I think most people who don't get snow tires aren't about "I can't afford them" since they did buy a RX8, I think, for me anyways, it's the hassel of having to call all the stores, find out what kind they have in stock and if they have wheels or I have to use my stock wheels, etc etc and then book an appointment. and then a few days or a week at most, after it snows here in vancouver, it's all gone and you have to book another appointment and stuff to get them taken off or replaced with your other tires....
anyone here tried putting 4 tires/wheels in their trunk? do they fit?

Well... in my case, the total on the road price with all my accessories came to just a little over $50000. So for me, it was tires or accessories first. I opted for the latter. So I do need the tires, but thought i'd wait till the 2005 guys start scrambling around for a group deal, then I'll jump on that band wagon :)

Funny when you first price the car, the number is reasonable, but somehow the cost just balloons the closer you are to the delivery date :) But it's certainly worth every penny.
