The car is kind of a mutant itself compared to all other cars. Think of it... four door sports car... freestyle doors... rotary engine... maybe that is why it went in a mutant movie?

Let's hope out mutant is powerful too... :p

I don't think the movie would be as cool if they crammed the team into another vehicle with "X" in it's nomenclature...like the RX-300. All the mutant blue paint in the world wouldn't make it work. (no offense, Lexus fans)

Actually it would have to be a hybrid RX330. I can just see the team (Wolvie driving) pulling up to the bad guys lair in this and then parallel parking!

i'd rather have the mazdaspeed rx8 go into mass production than the mutant rx-8... although if the mutant rx-8 had say a limited edition 3 rotor engine, then i'd rather see that one go into production instead :)
