first generation GReddy turbo kit

I just happen to stumble on to a first gen GReddy turbo kit but before I get everthing to go on I wanted to see if there were any updates to this kit. I plan on replacing old turbo with a newer one. looking at the install instructions online I see there is a metal plate added into the intake manifold, the old one didnt come with that... should i add one too. Let me know if there are anything i should update on

Ditch the old Greddy EMS and get a COBB Accessport tuner, get te AEM intake to fab up a CAI to work with the turbo kit.

Why a cai, what does it change, bought a Cobb from a guy on the forums just waiting until I get everything updated for the Turbo kit and the I'll spend the 300 bucks on the mm tuning service

you will have a lot easier time getting it tuned, not to mention more predictable results, with the aem intake. the greddy maf with filter is too short and does not permit the laminar flow necessary for accurate maf tuning.

I think it's a little more involved than that. I haven't done it though. You will want the BNR turbo upgrade, Cobb AP w/ MM tune, AEM intake modded to fit, BHR coils, and a midpipe (your choice). With all that, you will have a sweet car and not too many worries. edit: search and you should find out something regarding the blocking plate (think that's what it is) that you are talking about.
