It's not a meeting it's just a get together. This has been kicking around for weeks in the "SF thread" (http://www.rx8club.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=15547) and going no where, so I decided to take the plunge and see if we can get a couple people together. Seems like we have four already, sounds like it's on!!

Hopefully this can be a recurring theme as I will not make it this week. Granted, the way my work schedule is (lots of travel), making it during the week can prove to be difficult, especially in the middle of the week.

We can go over that with the folks that show up and see if a weekend day can be worked out (if they want to meet again). I just threw out a couple dates to get the ball rolling, would be nice to meet during daylight hours to take decent pictures.

I guess I should have read the thread more carefully, I thought it was along the beach.

Anyways, I passed La Playa and Lincoln several times between 7:10 and 7:30, gave up and left.

Aarg! Neofreak, I don't know how you could have missed us. We waited close to 15-20 minutes passed the hour before we moved on. Maybe the attached photos will help you pinpoint the spot we met (right across the street from the gas station at the end of Lincoln).

Okay, we had five RX-8's show up for the SF get together. All I can say is it turned out really well! We some how chatted-up for 3.5 hours at the Beach Chalet over dinner. Great time was had by all!

We came away with a plan to have a Napa road cruise tentatively set for Saturday, February 21st. This is going to be close to a full day excursion. So, keep your eyes peeled for a thread by "TheDosDog" for more details. If we could get 5 for the SF meet, I can easily see this going to 10 cars for this upcoming wine country cruise. I hope ecotomort, mazdabab, highrev'n and RX8Past, rxphink, madhaus and others can make it.

We are planning a driving cruise in Napa for Feb 21st. If you want to get together sooner in SF, setup and a time and date. Maybe shoot for Saturday Feb. 7th, you can prob scratch the 14th because of Valentines. A different locale might be better if you are planning a sit down. Otherwise it's a good spot and meet to start a San Fran city cruise.

i noticed one of them has a front license plate and man does it need to be removed! as someone else recalled...looks like two front teeth.

Hey guys, the napa Valley Cruise sounds great, and it looks like it's gonna be a great meet. However if there are any of you that want to meet on feb 7th sometime in the morning or afternoon please post on this thread. It would be nice to get together a good group of cars. That front license plate was mine. It was off for the last 6 months, and just last week I got tagged for a no front license plate.

Some Parking meter attendant had nothing better to do at 0530AM in the morning.

I had to put it on to get my fix it ticket signed. I'm giving it one more week, then the sucker is coming off!!!
