I found out car has Mazdaspeed exhaust from preivous owner...ya I didnt really look at it before LOL. Anyway, pretty happy for my numbers knownin some guys got wayyyyy less. That is only mod too.

DYNO done at UP Garage aka Fairlady Motors owned and operated by Doug, aka Nissan guru for NW. Guy is cool. dyno pull is 45 per pull.

Anyone know a good rim I should go with that would look good with the yellow? Any other yellow 8s on here?

Also, my wife has named her car CHOCOBO. If you know what that is, then laugh if not, then you have never lived....

190whp on a Mustang Dyno is great!

Checkout the Calling All Lighting Yellow thread (link below) for pics. Also in the wheel section there will be lots of Calling All <make of wheels> threads.

That's an awesome name. You could try and find a set of black RPF1's, the pics I've seen of yellow 8s with black rims have looked really good. 190 on a mustang is very good, we normally get in the 170's or 180's... unless you're georgeh

I can't remember seeing another yellow 8 at a meet but I've seen one driving around Redmond.

Well, I was going to recommend some volk ce28n's but even Rishie can only get those down to $2300 shipped for 4. 17x9 RPF1's can be found as low as 900 shipped for 4 and that was before they were discontinued. It is very, very hard to find a wheel as strong and light as an RPF1 for anywhere near as cheap... and they still look good and come with free friends :D

If we'd thought to, we could've taken a pic with 5 8's with RPF1's before Chris left

Hehe, good stuff. You should come up North (maybe drag Tony with you ) and come to a meet at Dick's Drive-In. Look for a new thread with an epic Dick's pun

Makes me miss the PNW. My old neighbor works at Up Garage.

I'm going to have to say get some black wheels. yellow/black combo with tinted windows looks mint.

I bought them used for $1750 shipped with tires. Center caps were an extra $200 though. I like them a lot. The tires i got with them are kind of crappy but that's my only complaint. Dark gunmetal Advan RS would look sweet on a lightning yellow. Check out evolutionm.com in the classifieds. Evo guys sell these things all the time.

customizin

Sigh, I am so bummed. Im back in Kuwait now on my way back to Afghanistan. I still wanna be throwing parts on the RX8. I donno what to do about power. Should I just leave as is at 190whp? Or shot for 200 or maybe 210? I was thinking of getting the Racing Beat Springs so I can get a little better handling and ride but not so low as my wife will have to drive sideways over stuff. And rims, Aww man. Thats a hard decision too. I guess I should go with 19x9 so I can get a good traction and feel up the wheel well so to make it look nicer.

Power wise, I got the AEM CAI and I was thinking maybe the RB headers? It already has MS exhaust. My wife kill me if i changed it.

I have the headers - so when you get back, I should be able to join a meet with you guys.

Okay cool, my biggest concern is if they throw emissions or ne ecu codes?
