do the mirrors themselves have more or less surface area than the originals?

Hmmm...It does look good, really...You might get mixed reviews...I guess Im not use to seeing many.

But don't you lose the "electric" use out of the mazdaspeed mirrors?

to brothervoodoo :yes i installed them myself, the installation was not that hard, you can just follow the instructions that came with the mirrors. The size of the mirror is approx 20% ~30%smaller than the original mirror.
to outlaws: they are still electric controled just like the original ones

Are they set up so that the "Object are closer than they appear" feature is in the proper (i.e. passenger side) mirror?

He He!!! I'm the same way. Everything is always installed at night and I get too excited. I have loved those mirrors since the first time I saw them - they look great on your car.

those mirrors definately look sweet i plan on getting those in some point.

Is there any way "mark" can update their website. They list no RX-8 products, and the manufacturers section is all dead image links. You must know him personally, since you'd have no way of knowing he had the parts for sale.

Are the MS side mirrors designed to also capture the "blind spot"? as the OEM´s are?

People have said that the MS mirror, on the right side the objects looks closer than they appear rather than the left side?

i like the mirrors i just think you got them on a bad angle pic cuz from other pics ive see they look nice but from that angle they look kinda iffy..

Silly - The Mazdapeed mirrors are set up for right hand drive cars from what I understand, hence the 'closer than they appear' on the wrong side.

At japanparts.com it states under this product "for RHD cars only". I send them an e-mail asking why is that. I was told that the right mirror is larger than the left one, so they can't be fitted on our LHD cars :confused: I wonder how this is possible, and if it is, how did Psychofox manage to install them...
