The time stamp on that wav file is Feb 28, 1999. So you're saying that's an rx-8?

The original question was for ANY rotary engine sound.

Not quite an RX-8. It's a turbo charged 20B. But you wont like the sound of the NA RX-2.

Go to www.rx-8.mazda.co.jp, down the bottom you use the gear to go to the various sites, if you move the cursor over it it plays a sound clip of the RENESIS. If you really desperate, on one of the videos, the middle one, you ccan very faintly hear the engines sounds over the ZOOMZOOM music.

Try this. Click on performance. It'll play an engine sound. Not very impressive though.

How could you not like the sound of a classic NA rotary? That RX-2 makes me all dreamy-eyed :D Nothing sounds like a bridgeported rotary.

(That's an RX-7 for the rotary newcomers)
