Hey everyone. I watch the board quite a bit time but don't post very often. Just got back a pretty sharp pic of me and my Silver RX-8 so I thought I'd post it.

I also added my companies Stealth Bulbs to the car and they look GREAT. Take a peek at my other pics if you want to see them installed. They are at:

www.stealthauto.com/ff.html

Also, feel free to ask me any lighting questions you may have about your RX-8. You can reach me at todd@stealthauto.com

Todd,

Looks like a good product... question though, I've seen a post on there about someone using your Stealth bulb in there corner light... but is it me.. or is it not amber? Do you have pics of the stealth bulbs lit on your 8 that you can post?

thanks....

Hey everybody-

Yes the stealth bulbs DO flash amber, but look silver when they are in the car. I'll post a pic a little later today to show you the before/after look.

Let me know if anyone has any more questions, I am happy to help!

Todd,

Make sure you follow Elara's advice... contact BoostD 7(Ryan) before further posts, since it would turn out as advertising... I'm sure he can work things out for you... an can even have a section on this forum... trust me... I've made this mistake on the RX7club forum with I used to moderate years back....

Wrong episode, there was one before where they ran a car off a ramp. That's the one Todd was in.

Fear Rx-8

Hey guys! The actual episode I won the car on was the one where I was up about 100 feet in the air on this crazy platform that was made of clear plexiglass, plus there were holes in it, PLUS it was raining on us, PLUS it was swaying and pitching back and forth.

I think it was a bit of skill, a LOT of persistence, and and little luck!

And....yes, the one on the show was red, but afterward we go to pick the color we wanted, the only thing I had to pay extra for was the GPS.

It was an awesome show to be on though, I feel really lucky I got to do it. ;)

These are the bulbs I put behind my clear markers. They're white during the day, amber at night... any reason why the "stealth bulbs" are better? I've been happy with mine so far.

That pretty much sums it up. Welcome to the club big guy.

OK, first things first...

MEGAREDS: Those orange 194's are still orange during the day. The Sidemarkers have a metal foil covering most of the bulb that hides most of the visible orange, but you CAN still see the color during the day. If you remove the foil cover inside the sidemarker lenses and put stealth bulbs in, you get a much better looking brighter orange light when they are illuminated.

Second.....Thanks again for the support, TWIG, I am glad you are happy with our products!

Third...cumpressor4u2nv:

I don'e even know where this came from. I'd attach a pic of my GIRLFRIEND to this, but with people like you posting messages on the board, who knows what you would do. (By the way, the girl on www.stealthauto.com/main.html is my ex-girlfriend, who happened to be in Miss California last year.)

Fourth...noahprtlnd:

I WAS on Fear Factor THREE times. The first one I won $50,000. I ran on top of a crazy wheel, ate a pizza with bile, blood, rotton cheese, and live worms, and was locked underwater. The second show, I won the RX-8 (which WAS a red prototype on the show, but we got to order them a few months later in whatever color we wanted). The third show I made it all the way to the last stunt where we jumped an old camaro off a 3 story parking garage, through a fireball and into a pile of boxes. I landed 6 feet shorter than Mark Hewlett...he won the grand prize of $100,000.

I was on Fear Factor. Any more questions noahprtlnd?

I think Todd really was on Fear Factor. My belief is based on his willingness to give us details as to how much money he made and to post pics of his ex-girlfriend. Jeri Ryan (Star Trek's "7 out of 9") was from Illinois (like me) and Todd's ex-girlfriend is certainly not as attractive as Jeri Ryan, but his old "GF" is very pretty and I think its entirely possible she could have been Miss California at one time. (Although, I really think some of those pageants are rigged - proof: Jeri Ryan never became Miss America.)

Also, noahprtlnd, I hate to be skeptical, but that looks like a stock photo you took off the Internet. If you are the real Noah Wyle, post more pics of yourself in "normal" circumstances, like mowing the lawn or something believable. Why not show us a photo of your wife, Hollywood make-up artist Tracy Warbin. She's certainly very pretty also. That would give you more credibility because it's hard to find photos of Tracy Warbin.

But... if you are the real Noah Wyle (as you say), you probably already saw this:

"Noah"
a poem by Christine Miller

Noah, your quite the guy,
when i first saw you,
You caught my eye,
I seen you on a tv show,
And felt the beauty of your soul,
Your kindness and warmth,
drew me near,
when you made me smile,
and shed a tear,
as I watched your character,
grow on the screen,
Your personality reached out to me,
It wasn't just your goregous face,
but your caring and gentleness,
that's touched my heart this way,
a love that's tender and true,
from a friendship,
That's begun to bloom.

I think some of your fans are a bit out there, if you know what I mean.

BTW, here's a photo of Jeri Ryan I found on the Internet:

There's 2 reasons for that: I only have one button buttoned, and my hand is in my pocket pushing the side of the jacket back. Please dont make fun of me.

it looks like there is only 1 button on the coat if there is 2 button the other 1 or unbutton both that can buy you time until you the ephedra kicks in. take your hand out of your pocket. and i'm not making fun of you because you're not noah wyle. :)

No, don't worry! The one on the show was actually a $250,000 prototype. After I won the show, I had the option to order whatever color/options I wanted, it was fantastic! And of course, I got the 6-speed. ;)

Congrats and good luck with the business. Not sure why those guys were giving you so much crap - I do remember that show- I was so friggin' jealous when they drove the 8 out on TV... but now I'm over it. I guess it helped that I bought one for myself : )

Anyway- I just put the clear corners on this week (which came with the OEM orange bulbs in the wiring harnesses)- I was considering getting the stealth bulbs- but was surprised to see the little 194 bulbs are the same prices as the rest of the bigger bulbs- any chance they will be a drop for the smaller ones in the future? Just a suggestion...

Sean-

We are working hard on trying to lower the cost of the small 194 bulbs and MAY be able to in the future, but no promises. Unfortunately, the cost of the bulbs comes from the actual coating process, not the actual size of the bulb, so there is no difference in production cost.

We DO have some more other really cool products coming out in the future though, so be sure to keep checking on the site. (we also need pics of cars with stealth bulbs for our new gallery!)

Also your ex is hot too bad she's your ex :), and i doubt you consider your self a celebrity and if you do...well lets hope that isn't the highlight of your life.

Also nice bulbs hope you do well with that. Since your in the market for that kinda stuff maybe you can help me out with something.
