I really don't know what the F@@k my PI is doing! They've given me my chassis no. and told me the car suppose to have set sail on the 7 of this month.
I had a chat with them just before the CNY, now they are saying, there are 2 cars that left the port, they are very sure one of them is not mine, but can't be sure if the other is mine? What the F! I can't image with such an expensive item one purchases, you've got no idea what's been delivered? I would thought you would be very sure of all the spec, vin/chassis nos, making very sure it's the item you have ordered before loading it on to the ship.
Anyway I've no more blood to vomit, so sick of the PI. They only resume work on Wed, I shall go down to them and do a final check, the car should be already in the port of Singapore, please keep your fingers cross for me.
Sigh.....

juz for yr info, if the car is on board ship, they ll definitely know the chasis no.. there is no reason that they dont know what car is on board. something must be funny.
btw, i really hope u ll get yr car soon.
One more thing i ll like to add is pls dun just because of this particular "PI" and u condemn the rest them.

Thanks for your info 666, I shall use this point of chassis no. to question my PI about the delivery.
I did watch what I've typed, I've used 'PI' and not 'PIs'. So I ain't rocking the whole boat. I didn't even wanna mention their name here. But if situations get nusty, who knows!

If its not today, it will definately be tomorrow that the car arrive in the Port of Singapore. The BOL stated that it left Nagoya, Japan on the 17 of Jan. By right, it should be already in. I'm just giving them 2-3 more days of grace period.

The last time, I ask them for the vessel name and then track individually on when the vessel is docking.

Secondly, after the car is in the show room, also pushed them to register the car fast. Last time they delay 2 days b4 registering my car. Not LTA issue, just that they submit the documents late.

Cannot track the location...but can track when it will be docking and where.

Lastest news! My dealer called, told me that the car actually arrived yesterday! So my RX-8 is somewhere in the port right now. No wonder I couldn't check the arrival of the vessle as it only indicate today and the next 2 days of activities.
Anyway, they gonna do all the necessary paper work, I should be able to view the car in the showroom by middle of next week and hopefully driving it off end of the week or early of the week after next! Renesis8 just got his chassis no. too, so should be middle of next month that he'll get his.
Maybe we could arrange a post valentine's day meet up!!

My car is in SIN too. Arrive today (Sat) according to my PI (same as M-ster's). I called the PSA berthing office to ask if I can go n have a peep n they told me that I need a temp pass from K-Line, who is the shipping agent. Anyway, will go n try over the long weekend. Finally! Waited for more than 3 months already. My heart races everytime I see an 8 on the road and now I will soon have mine. Yippee.

That ain't too bad. I ordered mine on the 6th of Sept! By the time I get my hand on it would probably be sometime next week (Feb), and that works out to be almost 5 months! It seems like they have quite a couple of 8 arrived last week! before mine, I think there were another 2-3 cars came in.
May I ask what spec did you ordered dru8999? It seems like the type-s are the tougher model to get hold of and the auto/5 speed are easier.

Mine's Type E (Sunroof). Velocity Red. Also ordered an Extra Remote key, Factory Alarm, MP3 CD Kit, Foot Lamp and Rotary Accents. Hoping to keep the accessory list short to nurse my battered wallet. HEHE.
