Watching the Cowboys fail is one of life's better pleasures.

Anyone catch Jerry Jones giving Wade Phillips the death stare at the end of the game? He's gonna lock him in a dungeon.

Classless? Cowboys called timeouts during that possession because they felt the game wasn't over, so if they felt the game wasn't over, why shouldn't the Vikings try to score...?

Plus, this isn't college, this is, as all the former players call them so enthusiastically : The National Football League

This isn't college.. Exactly. Running up the score doesn't make you a better team. In college that actually does count.

These teams (ALL) pay players big bucks to play football. That's what they do. PLAY FOOTBALL.
Now if someone is gonna say "Oh your a dick for running up the score"
I say go screw yourself. I'm here to play, I thought your team was too?
OK, let me fumble the ball or throw an interception to give you a chance to maybe get your shit together and play better. :icon_bs:

Going for it on 4th down twice to score a TD? I'm sorry but that's a dick move. I'd be pissed if my team would of done that.

It's funny.. About 2 years ago, the Eagles were playing the Cowboys.. The Eagles had the game won in the 4th. They were running down the clock and Brian Westbrook breaks open and goes all the way and stops at the 1 yard line. The Eagles then kneel down and get the win. It's called good sportsmanship. Something Favre and company don't know anything about.. Can't wait for the Saints to win next week.

Yeah Romo and Mcnabb are both choke artists, at least I admit that. But it's really, really, really hard for an Eagles fan to knock the Boys. The records speak for themselves. When the Eagles at least win one Superbowl then they talk shit.

And Yes, they are all professionals. I actually like Favre and knew he still had some gas in the tank so it was difficult to see.

Anyway, Go Jets!!!

Feras, you are so bad!:beer05:

there is of course a reason for this
the following isn't directed at the general cowboys fan, it's directed at those that became cowboys fans in the greater philadelphia area, and there are quite a few.
nothing would make me happier than if those cowboys fans would get the hell out of my city or back into their roach holes. i would be nicer to the general cowboys fan, but the philadelphian cowboys fan makes me constantly scream vendetta and my acerbicity flows from them to you. Sure i could be reasonable and blame rich kotite for turning the eagles into a joke in the early 90s allowing a move to rooting for the hot hand at the time and leave all other cowboy fans out of it, but thats no fun and it doesn't change the fact that those that left being fans of the eagles to go to being fans of dallas are the lowest of traitors and require the constant ire of those of us who live and die with each unsufferable year of what we call sports in this city. This is like the Medici and Salviati feud for me.

recquiescat in pace dallas.

Yeah it is one hell of a rivalry. I have a pure hatred of the Redskins and the Eagles. I had the pleasure of sitting 50 yard line directly in between two shit talking Eagles fans a couple years back when we demolished them by 30 points or so.

Was I acting childish and unruly? YES. Was it totally awesome? YES. Did the poor shit talking Eagle fan want to murder me? YES.

It was the best game I have ever been too ever, and I go to at least two to three games a year.

I always thought that one of the biggest rivalries in football was between Eagles and Giants, not Cowgirls :dunno: At least based on what I experienced, hell they're right across the freaking border from one another.

Feras

eagles giants is a big deal, but theres no emotion in it, especially in recent years. For like 15 years we live and die by what the eagles do vs. dallas and vice versa. Just listen in on our sports talk radio for a half hour, we talk big about eagles-giants that week, but eagles dallas starts getting talked about a month in advance.

Vlaze
01-18-2010, 04:16 PM
Actually the truth can be told the same with the Giants vs Cowboys. In general, there really is no real rivalry with the Cowgirls, they just tend to piss everyone off :lol2: I'll admit Giants vs Eagles isn't as intense especially contrast to Yanks vs Boston which can be deadly; yet still it's genuinely a rivalry.

I can't remember a time ever when the Cowgirls didn't come across as obnoxious and damn arrogant every time I see them. All it takes is a few key players, or coach and it stays with the team every season. Even if the players or coach are traded, leave, whatever, someone always fills the asshat void IMO. This and their antics tends to make enemies real quick with the rest of the league :yesnod: As humble as Romo has been in previous years, between Owen, the coach, and other players they just make up the other yang to make you hate them regardless if they suck or do good.

Giants players are the biggest bunch of whiners & trash talking arrogant aholes in the division. They piss and moan about everything and always act like the world is against them.

The Redskins players and fans are so clueless it is not even funny. Every year they think they are going to win it all because they signed some player in the off season.

The Eagles fans are some of the worst class of fans in the NFL. I'm shocked Judge Harry Stone and Bull are not back locking up the inmates.

That's against the rules of fandom. When talking to other team's fans your team never does anything wrong but amongst ourselves we talk plenty of shit. Which is why I can't stand stupid Darryl Johnston basically talking shit all over the Giants but it's fine from Bob Papa and Howard Cross.

Every team in the NFC East hates the Cowgirls and pretty much the rest of the league, but that doesn't make it a genuine rivalry against the Giants, or the Eagles, so forth. Learn to pay attention to what people write in detail better.

But hey that's just my opinion and calling it as I see it or rather, have seen it for years. It just apparently happens to mirror the voice of the polls and fans from other teams here, what were the odds. :yelrotflm

^ Brandon Jacobs has a vendetta against the boys. Trust me, the Giants & Eagles rivalry vs the Cowboys has grown the last few years. I'm sure the Eagles want revenge for losing 3 times vs Dallas. Just like we got revenge for last years 44-6 defeat. And everyone knows the boys & skins rivalry. You have to admit, every NFC East team Dallas plays is a good game to watch and the rivalry aspect sets in.

From my perspective the Eagles vs. Cowboys and then Giants vs. Cowboys are close but the edge goes to the Eagles. The Giants players with all their whining and pissing and moaning and a close second. The Redskins match up has been dormant the last few years because they really suck.
