Wish me luck, might get a new one tomorrow

I have missed my yellow '04 since I traded it a year and 1/2 ago, so tomorrow I'm
going to to try and trade my '08 Civic Si, on a new '09 loaded Rx-8 R3... got every thing crossed they can work it out. They have the '09's marked down 6k, and said they may can go more.

And they only have a Red and a Blue, the blue looks really cool.

no! get blue if you do, I've seen both on the road, the blue is a double take, the red is typical. It's a really nice blue.

I think that Mazda is giving a 5K rebate at the moment --- See if you can get some more off the price. its worth a shot..

Just do your research, true market value (depends on region) is $31,536.00 in my area + $5k off that. A 2009 RX-8 is hard to find - most dealers only have a couple if at all but really are keen to get them off their lot as they are hard sells.

I belive the R3 only comes in Red and Blue - I'd probably go Blue as Red is just over done in my opinion and looks cheaper somehow. (I'm sorry red owners

I bought mine about a month ago and got about $5500 off (including that $5k cash)

GOT HER!!!, back in love all over again.. 2009 Rx-8 R3, aurora blue metallic

Only realy thing I'd like to do is put a Mazdaspeed wing on it like I had on my '04 do they still]
make those?

they came off the sticker 8K, but, due to huge amount I was in the hole with the Si,
that put it right back to 32k, which is fine, I have the car I wanted and out of the Civic.

Nice, congrats man, looking sharp. Sticker price was what, $33k then? If I calculate it out, I think my 09 Touring was about $8k off the invoice sticker.

i believe you can get the mazdaspeed wing unpainted. its a bit cheaper this way too. so just have them paint it aurora blue.

thats the easy part, i dont know if the bolts from the oe spoiler line up anymore.

Thanks everyone for the welcome back, it is so good to be back. The Si was not a bad car at all
and I think this makes 22 in the count of cars I've had over the years. There is just something that I love about these rotary machines.

no mods anytime soon, only real thing I'd like is another mazdaspeed rear wing like I put on my '04 but, looks like they don't make them for the '09's

I actually prefer R3's in blue compared to Red, but the best colour for the R3 is white.
Too bad Canada, Australia and Europe get that choice
