Here post whatever you ate today, it doesn't matter if it's dinner, lunch or breakfast...or all of them ! You can describe it, but only if you want. You can also comment of what other people ate.

Today I had Sancocho for lunch .

It's a Dominican food xD You eat it with rice and it's yummy, it can have Chicken, Pork and Beef as the meats (all of them could be in the same sancocho at once), also Yuca, Yautia and Plantain, and also optional corn and bollitos ..

Grape fruit juice with barley grass juice powder. Have not eaten breakfast yet, since I have stopped drinking fluids while eating meals. No fluids 30 minutes prior to eating a meal. No fluids 60 minutes after eating a meal. Having your stomach awash in fluids while eating is bad for digestion.

^^^ There needs to be more noodles and less chicken or whatever that is

Those are the wrong kind of noodles. It is white pasta, a very acidic forming food. Switch to whole grain pasta, less acidic forming, then your body won't have to work so hard to maintain an alkaline balance.

There are lots of food discussions on rx8club. No one to date that I have seen, has ever been on record for eating anything healthy.

If you eat something greasy, it's good to drink some tea to melt the fats out.

Also, it sounds very inneficient..

You need to eat a meal every 2 hours, 5 meals a day.. You can't drink until after 1HR after a meal, at that point, you have 30min to drink a shit ton of liquids before taking the 30min break before eating again...

Not everything you read on the internet is true.

Wow - I tried a new place today in Paso Robles - it is called the Artisan.

It was busy but not crowded, and I felt welcome and comfortable there.

Black glossy tables, photographs of little fondue dinners, odd city light displays, and soft Monterey Jazz -

The cloth napkins and white plates were a nice contrast to the black tables. I was in black and red, so they offered me a black napkin so it would not leave white lint.

Salt was unusual - and it had been cracked and ground - it came in a little flat dish. The pepper was in a do it yourself pepper grinder.

They brought water, without being asked. It is our own good local water with little thin slices of lemon and cucumber, and lots of ice. And they kept the glass filled.

Good wine list, but I asked for Sprite, because it leaves the palate cleaner.

I started with a cheese fondue - this had been recommended by a friend and it was eye closing good! It is a meal in itself - they bring out this tiny iorn pot on a stand with a candle to keep the cheese warm. I noted that they had placed the stand on three little slices of cucumber to keep it from damaging the plate.

It came with a little stack of toasted garlic bread; some very good sausage, roasted, cut thin and basted with beer; and a steamed vegtable that I believe were some variety of chinese cabbage blossom. Tiny yellow flowers, long sweet green stems.

They brought extra bread, soft, hot, yeasty, sliced thin, from a narrow French or Italian style loaf. Nice crust with a water glaze.

I followed the fondue with a tuna tartar salad. Good, but I would not get it again. It consisted of fresh spring greens, with herbs; three little mounds of minced raw salmon in a wine dressing, on home made crusts that were very thin, and long, and coated with poppy seeds, toasted flax seeds, and little white sesame seeds. Underneath the greens, there were three fresh string beans that had been steamed and given a vinagrette dressing. these were layered over toasted Morrocian capers and wine processed Italian olives. (I asked about the origins of the condiments). Thin slices of cumcumber and an egg - hot but left just a little less hard than a hard boiled egg provided 'round things' symbolic of the sun and new spring year.

The last course was a creme brulee. I expected a single dish, and asked for the cherry brandy one, but the dish turned out to consist of three tiny saki glasses each holding a different flavor of creme. I liked the pistachio the best - and, of course, each little pudding was covered with a crisp glassy hot sugar crust. You spoon cracks through it, and your tongue tastes little slivers of roasted sugar before it tastes the sweet creamy custard.

Nice, I will go there again...

PS - why did the OP get banned?

OP got banned for spam. Bots are getting smarter now-a-days, they automatically will register, lay low for a week or two making small very general posts on random topics throughout the site to get their post count up then they launch a full out spam campaign, or they will slip spam into their sigs.

First big tip off was his comment on the Avatar thread, it sounded too much like a copy-pasted movie review, not really the type of post a normal person would make. All this guy's posts were very very general without emotion, exactly the type of posts that would be pre-programmed into a bot capable of infiltrating many genres of forums.

Whereas a normal person will either ask a question, or post some sort of introduction in their first 5 posts.

I'm an Admin on our local rotary site, EvolvChicago.org. We have only 300 members and a new one signing up about twice week. I do a background check on each new members name, email address & IP. This site is too large to do that. So, some are going to slip through.

A single Almond Roca candy and two quick gulps of ginger ale – I needed sugar and fast.

Two hours and nearly 200 miles later – More carbs, just to keep going.
A cup of hot chocolate, and an order of buttered rye toast, the mass-produced kind, with seeds, and with blackberry jelly.

The jelly was in small commercial packets from Knotts Berry Farm, and it was good. I read a newspaper from Salinas while I chewed the toast.

Two hours later and a ladies luncheon, I was seated at the head table, which made me uncomfortable, but I knew our speaker felt worried, and I did my best to keep him calm and chipper – and in between speeches –I fed on a chef’s salad.

The iceberg lettuce and romaine were sweet, fresh and local, they were cool and wet, but the deli sliced turkey was flaccid, over processed, and transparent – almost gelid. The cheese was commercial processed and dyed yellow. It too, seemed gelid. The sliced egg was good, the chopped tomato, under ripe. The ranch dressing had come from a tin can. You could taste the metal and the buttermilk powder used to make it. Tap water to drink, with a little ice. The water in King City is decent, tastes of wells, sand and limestone, with a breath of chlorine. City water. Even with ice, it doesn’t make you want to drink very much.

Hours and miles later, back at home. A cup of miso soup. More for the warmth than the nourishment. The rough crude bowl felt warm in my hands. I felt the steam move up, onto may face. I watched the clouds of soup particles form and swirl against the perfectly smooth inside lining. I contemplated the rough and the smooth, the cracks and bubbles in the outer salt glaze, the beautiful brown, hand dipped, smoothness of the inside. .

They say you can read the future in miso, but the writing is all in ancient Japanese so no one can read it any more.

Later I had a dried apricot, and a single slice of dried papaya.

for dinner we had pan seared salmon with a basalmic/honey/orange glaze with some rice and green beans. my neighbor caught the salmon himself in Alaska recently. I made theglaze.

desert was homemade chocolate ice cream I made using this recipe from cooks country/americas test kitchen

1 teaspoon instant coffee or espresso powder
1 tablespoon hot water
4 ounces bittersweet chocolate, chopped fine
1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
Pinch salt
1 1/4 cups cold whipping cream

In a small bowl, combine coffee powder and hot water. Let stand until coffee dissolves, about 5 minutes.

In a bowl, microwave chocolate, sweetened condensed milk, and the coffee mixture, stirring every 10 seconds, until chocolate is melted, approximately 1 minutes. Stir in vanilla extract and salt; let cool.

With an electric mixer on medium-high speed, whip cream to soft peaks, about 2 minutes. Whisk 1/4 of the whipped cream into the cooled chocolate mixture. Fold the remaining whipped cream into the chocolate mixture until incorporated.

Freeze in an airtight container until firm, at least 6 hours or up to 2 weeks.

NOTE: If you plan to store the ice cream for more than a few days, place plastic wrap directly on its surface before freezing.

Makes 1 quart ice cream.

In lock down mode, as I try to dig up science papers to help keep the water flowing - too intense to eat and enjoy it -
so its:

Half a can of Chef Boyarde's ravioli, and chocolate pudding for breakfast
reheated turkey wing for lunch with clamato juice

Supper - tin of canned oranges and I think I ate something else but I was not paying attention - too focused on birds and frogs endangered by man made dust bowl and bad scinece that used alleles as an excuse to call a fish population endangered and cut off water to 20% or the worlds food supply!!

Take a look at the benefits of grass fed beef vs others including organic beef which does tell you if they were fed grass or grain. We biy nothing but grass fed beef at Whole Foods and the price is not bad compared to Publix ground sirloin.

Today's lunch was pork tenderloin in a wine sauce with pasta. My wife always packs me a good lunch. Grapes everyday.
