wtb : auxmod

hey im looking for an auxmod to get audio input into the factory headunit. let me know whos selling one. as far as i know, there is no firmware restrictions on an auxmod right?

There is restrictions, I believe the same as the ipod connector (9.55 and above, or something like that).

Pretty sure, as I was forced to check my HU version before I bought mine. The only solutions for older firmware HUs are to upgrade them, as far as I know.

i think my only solution is the auxmod since i have an older firmware head unit. 2004 rx8 w/nav

i have an early 04 and the auxmod is the solution i went with and it works great. just need a ground loop isolator if you use something with a charger.
