What size tires should I put on my stock 18's?

What size tires should I put on my stock 18's?

They're 225/45/R18 right now, I was thinking about getting 245/40/R18 or 255/40/R18's
would the 255's be too wide or too tall?
Please let me know!!

245/40-18 = Perfect. No reason to go wider unless they are for the track.

Thanks a lot! Do you know if the 245's will line up with the fender? as opposed to being a little sunken in? I like it when the tires stick out just a little bit, looks sick in my opinion.

Rim offset dictates where the edge of the tire is going to be. Inward or outward.
If you want something more flush you'll have to change the rims to a lower offset. Like +35mm. Factory is +50mm.
