Ridiculous... they don't have one in or anywhere near to Colorado. O well, I don't even have my car yet. If I did have my 8.. would they let you drive that out there or would you have to drive one of their protege's or something?

So, from those of you who've done it before:

Is it really as fun as it sounds?

Did you learn anything from the clinics?

How fast did you get on the track in competition?

Do you do an entire lap?

What car did they use last year?

Thanks for the info.

Yes.
I didn't, but I have many years of motorsport experience. I think the average Joe would probably gain something.
It's a tight autocross course. Maximum speed was probably around 40mph, though it'll still get the adrenaline going.
Yes, each run is a "lap" of their autocross course. They don't use actual racetracks.
Last year they used slightly modified 6-cylinder Mazda 6's
You're welcome. :)

Why can't they bring things like these to Colorado?!?! Lexus does one too and they never come here either. It sucks...

Well, the Dallas Pro Solo has been moved to Topeka, so I've registered for the Sunday in Houston.

I'll try to stay away from the cones this year. (I beat the expert's index time last year, but tagged a cone which cost me a trip to Laguna Seca.)

You cut the fastest lap. Time for payback. This year the cars are Mazda3's. If you can't borrow one go for a few test drives before the event.
