Hey Guys.. never really introduced myself.. name is Jay, usually on RX7club.com and Nopistons.com. I own a 93 RX-7 which is currently For Sale and have been researching for a new car with 4 seats... the RX-8 is one of them, along with some other models out there... but i'm toying with the idea of owning an RX-8.. the one thing that's killing me is...

Well thanks for the heads up...

I've actually been noticing that, reading through the 29384098304823 pages on CZ's ECU mods.. and see a little harshness to noobs who first join in... It's very different here compared to the RX-7 forums... I guess it's cause the 8 forum is an older crowd... I'm waiting to get flamed for my rear wing on my FD... but oh well... it IS mazdaspeed...

well.. anyway... I guess, I'll just decide on my own... but if the rest of you feel kind enough to join.. please feel free and keep the flames to a minimum..

My bad dude.. didn't mean it in a bad way... I have 9 month old twins and can't have my 7 anymore... I feel really old... I see a lot of families and wifes in here.. .pretty cool. I'm used to the 8000 members and 10 females.. LOL

In my opinion the elegant lines of the car are much better highlighted with the sunlight silver paint. I have one. The other day I passed a black one on the highway and wasn't really sure if it was an RX-8 or not until it passed by. I also passed one like mine a while back (sunlight silver) and I could tell from 1/2 mile away it was an RX-8. Just my 2 cents... ,Lewis

Yea.. I get the same from my black FD... it's hard to notice the lines... I hate cruising w/ the lighter FDs.. they look better IMO since you see the body lines... Thanks for your input!

BEAUTIFUL PICS! Man, those are better pics than in the RX-8 brochure! You've really captured the essence of the 8 in those photos. Some of the best I've seen. Titanium Gray is an awesome color too!

Here is a Lighting Yellow... it was a quick chop... i was bored... just in case anyone wanted to see the MS kit complete on a yellow 8... but I wanted some more subtle... hence the silver/gray..

The yellow is interesting too but, a little to flashy for me. I really wish they would have came out with a white one. That would have been my color of choice. I had the white 88 turbo anniversary edition RX-7 before this one and fell in love with the white paint. It seemed to not show dirt and road scum as fast as other colors.

This poll would not be here if they had white for the 8!! :cool:

Thought I'd throw a pic of it in here. I miss this car very much. She had 185,000mi. on it when I had to give her up. It would still haul a*s even with that worn out original motor and turbo...

AWESOME! Looks like you got heavily into that car! It looks amazing... I always wanted a 3rd gen but never got the oppurtunity. I still think the 3rd gen has the most appealing proportional look about it-even today. They got a bad rap down here in the Texas heat because of the overheating and 60K motor lifetimes. Still wanted one though... Who knows maybe I'll find a fixer upper in a few years to play with.
