i'm having sone prob with my 8....form when i got it, early this year (used-05-AT) i had no prob until it died suddenly on me. I had it checked out and had the plugs changed, went to pick it up and it was a no go (it wouldn't start) leave it for a few days and stil the same prob. after a while it started again, it drived good for a while then it statrs to cut off while driving at low rpm...and now my CEL is on, but before it stay on it used to come on and off, now my 8 wont start normal meaning it takes a few seconds before i have ignitions. And its kicks and vibrates alot.



Any advice would help....

 

check the ignition coils

 

Coils and wires would be a good place to start. Have you got the codes read? Have you cleaned the MAF sensor? Have you tried to decarbon the engine to increase the compression? Add a can of SeaFoam best results half or quarter tank(at Walmart $8) and drive it hard near the red line a few times. If one can improves it try a second treatment. Let us know if it helps.
