so im planning to buy some leds for the map lights the dome light and the door lights from rotaryfx...

are these good and will they illuminate like the stock/ will they even illuminate? cause i heard from someone on here that with led, they are either on or off(switch).

I used red LED's in my map lights and door lights. The map lights faded when going off. I purchased a wide angle beam for the map and a spot beam for the doors. The red was very bright. If your going white should not be an issue.
Do they have a heat sink built in? It would be preferred to have that if you plan on leaving them on for any more than a couple of minutes. LED's can get hot.

my nephew has BLUE and its still fairly visible in his car when they are on....

People on here really like v-leds.com. There is LED thread in exterior forum going on if you search.
