Try jump starting the car? Take the battery to auto-zone or similar and have them test the battery?

I would start there and it's probably nothing to go ape **** over. If it sat for a while the battery could just be dead.

Start there.

how long has it been sitting? Did you put in any gas additive? Could the gas have gone bad?

It may have been the battery, but it is certainly now flooded. You need to deflood the engine and probably get a new battery now since you drained it by trying to start the car repeatedly.

Edit: Look here for procedure on Deflood. If it isnt right, blame alfy https://www.rx8club.com/showthread.p...hlight=deflood

Stop using Bold font, it isnt that serious. You say your a Honda guy but dont know where spark plugs or spark plug wires are? I will assume by Honda guy you mean I fill up my gas and get an oil change every now and then.

Rotary Engines flood easy. It's the nature of the beast. There are plenty of DIY threads with pictures for even the most mechanically challenged people. If you can't do it, I'm sure you can find a friend.

if you don't know how to click on the link that shows you how to deflood, or you just dont feel up to trying it... have the car towed to a mechanic.

Long story short they hooked it up to what seemed to be a defibulator for ur car and cranked it like crazy lil by lil the engine started to turn over! Then in a huge puff of smoke my baby was back , they reved the engine alot and all was good!
