04 GT, 6 SPD, 45000 miles. Just recently the car stalls when going around corners, going up hills or accellerating hard when the car is low on fuel. However, it is not low enough to cause the low fuel light to come on. When I get fuel it will only take 12 gallons to fill up. So, there is almost 4 gallons of fuel remaining in the tank. The car runs fine when the fuel level is above 1/4 tank. Any ideas would be appreciated.

I learned about this at Watkins Glenn elevation changes, sharp turns, high RPM's, low fuel and the saddle bag type fuel tank can cause this. I just make sure I never hit the track below 1/4 tank. If your having this issue with more than a 1/4 it can be a fuel pump issue.

Fuel pump failing...
I would only say that if he has this issue with more than 1/4 tank. I was towards the end of a 45 minute session and my fuel light came on. I was getting fuel starvation when going into THE BOOT (https://www.trackmasters.com/Images/Elevation1.jpg). With more than 1/4 tank no issues and my first fuel pump lasted long after that event. But I do know of other members that have fuel starvation issues under less extreme conditions and for them a fuel pump problem is most likely the cause.
I had the same problems myself back in March. A new fuel pump fixed the issue. Others have had starvation issues, I just don't think that is the issue dirty is talking about. It really does like the beginning faults of a failing fuel pump.
Dirty, look into replacing the pump soon. The frequency of the stalls will increase as the pump gets worse and soon it may start stalling even after a short 20 min trip. I only speak from my experience, though.

I went below the E line way after te fuel light came on three times already. Thought it was going to break down but it never did and started just fine. Dangerous game

The only time I run into this problem is when the fuel is below an 1/8 of a tank. About 2 months ago I ran it until the low fuel light came on and I didn't notice this problem. But then again I wasn't hitting the corners hard as I was on my way to the gas station.

It will start out low and as the pump craps out or your speeds increase it will get to the point it will do it at 3/4 tank
Stupid fuel pump :)
