QC Can you guys tell me if this ticking sound is normal?

Hi,

I have recently changed coils/plugs/wires/air filter/clean MAF to eliminate a ticking sound that I hear from the motor but it didnt work and didnt improve gas mileage. Still running 180 miles per tank. The wires are on tight, the coils are brand new. There is no loss of power. I just hear this ticking sound that drives me nuts. Its very apparent at lower rpms. A work collegue saw me in an indoor parking lot and told me he could hear "ticks" while i was looking for a spot.

I captured this video so you guys can listen. the sound quality sucks so you have to listen carefully.

What do you think it could be?

thanks in advance

I had the samething. You need to seafoam that bitch. Thats sounds like the exhaust ports stuck with what looks like carb goop or build up of some kind may be oil I really dont know how to explain it. Some say its carb jon316g says its something else. Any how take to mazda and have them do a decarb on it for I think $100 or get some seafoam and diy.

Maybe if you open the hood and actually have the camera near the engine, we (or you) could narrow it down better.
