just curious what other cars you all have or are planning to get to compliment your 8.

We have a Vivid Yellow '02 Miata and a '92 Explorer MSV (Miata Support Vehicle).

And for a month I also still had my '96 Miata M-Edition, but it finally sold last week.

We're thinking about the Inifinti FX45 as an Explorer replacement at the end of the year... that thing is the hottest SUV I've ever seen.

Plan on doing this as soon as we move into a place with a garage (hopefully I'll be able to get started on it within a year)

Wife drives a 94 Corolla wagon. I traded in the family car(2000 Suzuki Grand Vitara) for the RX8. So I had to get her something.

Well....

I guess if you ask me... my other car is an RX-8... but if you ask my wife... the other car is an RX-8....:D :D :D :D

We have two and we race each other all the time.

PS... My says her's is faster.

Wow. Two RX-8s?
That would drive me nuts.
Then again, it would be nice to have a bone-stock RX-8 laying around to do comparisons with on my "tweaked" 8.

As for other vehicles:

'97 Miata with a custom T3/T4 turbo, intercooled. About to put an E-Manage in that car too.
Sold the MX-3 for the RX-8. It was similarly turbo'ed, as well.

Nah, the beetle stays, though she has agreed to get rid of it in favor of an Infiniti G35 Coupe after we get my 8.

I'm selling my 3000gt and she's selling her Del Sol. That will get us down to two, (the bike doesn't count :) ) and green lights my 8 purchase. The real challenge will be deciding which car to take to work each day. :)

I wish any of our kitties were that calm... I found the avatar on the net somewhere. Mine would never sit still long enough to get photographed like that. :D
