Exclamation Replaced tranny, car wont go into gear when on!

Car won't go into gear when the car is on. I have a brand new clutch and fly wheel and a replacement trans that only had 12k on it. Questions, ideas or help?

Didn't we fix this by changing out your fluid?

reinstall? maybe something got messed up in the process....

EDIT:
Maybe there is an issue with the slave cylinder not sending properly..that would prevent the car from going into gear. My little brothers 72 midget had this problem

Did you break open the clutch hydraulic system?

It sounds like you installed the clutch disc upside down. Did you check the orientation? Otherwise, hydraulic system or bound up pilot bearing.

a) Clutch plate maybe installed backwards and fouling flywheel
b) Throwout bearing not located correctly on clutch fork
c) Bleed clutch hydraulic system
d) Possibility of mix matched clutch plate and pressure plate

Maybe ????

Courtesy (Dealer ship) gave me a shitty clutch, we installed a new one. I got one pretty cheap and we MIGHT be able to return the one I got from Courtesy as defective so I MIGHT get that cash back.

I am writing a letter to Mazda corporate today complaining about them and that there is no where in NV that I can take my car that I can trust.

At least my car is back though right?
There ya have it. New tranny with a bad clutch.
