yellow 98 cobra SVO package, complete vortec system, chip, side pipes etc. actually lots more, two batteries in the trunk..among other things
dyno'd at pauls performance ...at about 615 hp total.. I call it the vette killer, its fun.
the red is a coverted GT to cobra, with all the mods. Interior as well ..that was my first sports car..other than a old 69 chevelle SS
and the 2002 GT is just a work car, driving back and forth from work and what not
Still waiting on the RX-8 to arrive..CANT WAIT.

Here is what mine looked like when i had it. except mine had a white vinyl roof. this is the only pic i could find in the right year and color.http://www.centralvalleyclassics.com/cars/ford/65mustGT/65mustGT1.jpg
check out the tips coming thru the rear valance. it was hard to find one that came stock from the factory like that.

wish i had never got rid of it. one of these days.....
one of the reasons the mustang did so well in the early days was because there were so many combinations of color, roof, options and accessories available from Ford for it, that nearly no 2 came out the same. wouldn't it be nice if that had rubbed off on Mazda and the RX-8?

When I was growing up we had a 68 Mustang purchased new and not sold until 83. It was just a 289, but still increadable fun as a tennager.
Nice collection. The 60's one is what year? Is it a 64 1/2?
hey Mike...might wanna check with some of those youngsters out in the forum that wanna drag the 8 and trade them one of your stangs' and then you'll have you a nice 8...LOL

nope '65 but my dad had one when i was younger that he ordered new the first year (kinda like me and the rx-8) and his was a 641/2- sold it in 1976. which is preety much why i wanted one so bad that i finally bought mine- riding around in the back of my dad's as a kid was such a kick.

615 hp !!! I bet that is fun to drive, and 'give me a ticket' screaming yellow to boot. Pretty car but way too easy to get in trouble with I bet.

Hum. Now that I look at it, there's room for a rear freestyle door there isn't there? :) Of course that window would "roll down". And who could forget the pop open fron triangle window vents!
Thanks for sharing.

lol its wild.. ive taken the yellow one out a few times....crazy..and its got all the goodies inside...5.0 shifter...lights up the car inside when u his 5000 rpm its nasty..loud as hell too...but the engine ..I need my dad to post pics of the engine..u guys would really like it..its all chrome...beautiful..vortec everything.
anyways its nasty... u just sit there..and no one wants to challenge u..haha plus u can hear the car whistling..so most people just stare..even the vettes...they try not to look lol but they do...its definitely NOT a sleeper..start it in the garage...shakes the garages..its pretty sweet lol...I just got back from college, so i finally can take them out and warm em up...the yellow is a 98 has like only 4000 miles if that
but its fun....sucks gas though lmao

Mike, what do you think of the old SVO? I had one, and still cringe when I remember the repair costs...
