My fiancee's father bought one these new in '75 or so. He bought it because he was in love with English cars, but wanted all English engineers dead after the '73 E-Type he had. A common conundrum in the 1970's. He was talked into the Jensen becasue of the Chrysler power thinking that an American mechanic should be able to fix that. Although the engine died consistently on the way from the shop every time the mechanic proved to him it worked, they kept saying, "well, yes it's a Chrysler motor, but I can't fix it because of . . . " However, he still counts it as his favorite car of all time, and he has had some pretty flash Porsches, Mercs, Beemers and such. I have never been able to figure out what he liked so much about it but he did.

It sort of puts into perspective the complaints people are making about the RX 8.
