I've seen 3 versions of this story now, and many people believe that it's a photoshop. However your point is valid, though I don't see it has to do with street racing, seems they were just driving like morons and running from the cops if it's in fact true.

If you race, you better focus on it. If you are doing it on the streets...your attention is going to be split between driving and spotting 'po-pos' or not running over someone. Better take it to a track, or even better...like I am sure you do: AutoCross.

Ahh, how much would it cost to buy, let's say....2 square miles of virgin land, make a thin concrete bed, and drop some pavement ?
