All day i drive around in exotic cars, then i get in my 8 and drive home. i've driven the gt3, a gallardo, an r8, the panamera, an slk 55 amg, an rs4 and even an f340 spyder. And I have to say, when i get in my 8 at night and hear that rotary rev to 9k, i still get all giddy inside. when i get on the off-ramp, i still grin as i don't slow down. my rx8 is a goddamn racecar. it is a confidence inspiring piece of art on wheels. that's all i have to say about that.

p.s. i get better mpgs than all those cars, fuckers. :yesnod:

sort of had the chance to trade today. i could've traded for an rs4. i found one for 45k with 7000 miles on it. black on black. sexy. clean. I owe 10k on my 8. It's worth 18k. So I would be financing the rest probably. That puts my payments around 800/month (after taxes and sht). But that's a big nut for me right now.

So, I considered it. I mean, 've already owned an 8. I know what's that's like. heh.

This is nice to hear.

I haven't had nearly as many opportunities to drive expensive, exotic cars, but every time I do, I notice some weird quirk or flaw that is a surprise given the cost of the cars. I have yet to find a serious, similar quirk on the 8.

Also I'm usually so nervous that there's no way I could ever even think of driving those cars the way they are supposed to be driven. I'd have be terribly weathy to be able to own one of those and not be sweating blood every time I took it on the road.

That gets lost after a few 1,000 miles. When I bought my Ducati I felt that way at first. I was like "Never gonna go fast" "Gonna drive safe and slow" psh after I had it awhile....."187mph psh, thats it???" "wow, front wheel comes up easy!"
