My NAv screen periodically gets into some mode where it displays this screen (attached).

Has anyone seen this before? Perhaps someone who can read the language can tell me what it says.

When the screen is displayed the nav controls dont seem to work.

I have enjoyed all the various hidden screens on the navbut I have not seen one like this before. Perhaps i missed a thread where this was already discussed.

I have US version 04 Mazda Rx-8 with Bose and Nav. Installed latest Nav disk (2008).

It's a JDM option.

 

analog tv wouldnt work anymore anyways and from what i read you must be sitting still to get a digital signal w/ a converter box installed.

 

Wonder if I can play movies through this thing. I need to look into the various external connections and see how to put this new found screen to good use. Right now it is just teasing me :-)

FYI i have hide all the wires, no more ground in the center, also i've changed the player to play all type of CD/DVD rw and others..

to play the DVD, first you have to find TV2, just double click the voice on you navigation controller pic below to get the TV2, then scroll the analog to VTR and press ENTER to change it to TV, now you can watch the DVD using your navigation tv screen
