Just noticed looking at my MSRP sticker it said heated mirrors. Are these automatic or something??? Hmmmm......sorry if this is a repeat. Thx

they go on when you turn on the rear window defogger.

have you tested yours to ensure that they do, in fact, work? i haven't gotten any ice on mine yet to be able to test these...i actually forgot they were even on there

no i havent tested them. i forgot they were there too. i just happened to be reading the manual and it says to turn them on press the rear window defogger switch.

Hmmm...ok thanks for doing the research for me!! Never would have guessed that. Has anyone seen them work?

Oh yes! They do quite well. And all you do is turn on the rear defroster as RX GR8 said and they come right on.

they work - even when my mirrors are fogged - in 10 seconds they're clear!

Yea. I got the Service Highlights manual and was surprised to see the heating element while paging through. But it made such an impression, i complety forgot... until I read this thread. At least now I know how they work!

thats only on grand touring here in the states.

You get that standard on GS and GT trim here in Canada. I've used them before, and I thought it would de-fog the whole mirror... I was a little disappointed. Never the less, it is better than not having this feature.
