STOCKTON -- A traffic stop involving a young officer and the son of a small-town mayor has the whole town talking. The mayor of Stockton tried to fire the officer for issuing his son a ticket.

I didn't realize Stockton doesn't have the internet, or phones, or email... oh wait, they do. How did the mayor think this wasn't going to get out?

Oponent Mark Whitey won the town's vote for mayor with over 75 percent of the vote.

Wow 230 total voters???? And did the 57 who voted for him not hear what he did??

Heh - I've ridden through there on my bike and its a teeny town. Its funny because it didn't seem like that big of a story to me.

I guess its good he didn't get re-elected, based on what was in the story.
