I always wondered what that ambient temperature switch is for. You can suppress the display of the outdoors temperature, but..? what for? Cannot see the indoors temperature or seat temperature :-) What is this two-way-switch for?

Same dash is used in other cars, e.g., Mazda 6 that has climate control.

It's a three-way switch - press and hold to change the display between Fahrenheit and Celsius.

Of course, if you don't appreciate the speedo/odo button to convert from miles to kilometres, then you won't appreciate this function either! ;)

thanks, I didn't know that. And I spent time explaining my visitor from Germany how to calculate from F to C. lol. Had I only known!
