View Full Version : STOLEN!! Enkei NT03+M & Toyo RA1 Package
Ross_Dawg 10-13-2009, 10:39 AM STOLEN!!
Hey guys I really need your help. My track rims/tires were stolen off my front porch in San Luis Obispo, CA on September 21, early morning. I left them out Sunday night so FedEx could pick them up by noon on Monday but they were gone.
The size's are 18x9.5 +27 for the rims and the tires are 275/35/18 Toyo RA1's.
If you guys could post this thread on every forum you belong to so we can hopefully catch the person who took these from me, I would forever be in debt.
The only picture I have of them:

NOTURX8 10-13-2009, 10:47 AM damm .... that hurts... good luck catching the bastards
Gr8Bullet 10-13-2009, 10:50 AM Damn bro that sucks. Good luck hope you get them back. I'll keep my eyes out for them as well.
Ross_Dawg 10-13-2009, 10:52 AM Will do!
Homeowners insurance going to cover it?
Yes and no; the deductable is 1% of the property insured which is $400,000. So a $4,000 deductable
TopGear8 10-13-2009, 11:01 AM I'll keep an eye out.
Ross_Dawg 10-13-2009, 11:05 AM Thanks guys I really appreciate it. This is quite a blow for a college student just trying to have fun at the track :(
Again if you could post this thread on every forum you belong to so we can limit the people this guy can sell to.
Easy_E1 10-13-2009, 11:06 AM Here's a better pic Ross. I'm sorry this happened and i hope they find the A**holes that stole them.

rodjonathan 10-13-2009, 11:21 AM dude when were these stolen?? someone offered my buddy a set of "racing rims" out the back of a van and he took a look at em ... he was tellin me about it last night he has alot of these offers when hes working at his dads check cashing store maybe they were yours ima have to ask him to describe the rims
Ross_Dawg 10-13-2009, 11:22 AM Thanks Easy; yeah you cant mistake the rims if you see them on the road. Also, this fitment wont fit most cars so if somebody has an account at my350z, zilvia.net, evolutionm, etc that would be a HUGE favor if you could post this in their FS sections

I hate thieves!
Good luck finding them.
I go on random forums a lot so I will keep an eye out.
llzjayarzll 10-13-2009, 04:50 PM damn that sucks, did you tell anyone you were leaving them out there? maybe it was an inside job thing. outside for overnight and then gone is pretty fishy.
imput1234 10-13-2009, 04:58 PM damn sucks bro! hopefully that fagot gets caught!
9krpmrx8 10-13-2009, 05:12 PM That sucks man but one of the girls that works for me has a BF who works at Fed Ex and he jacks shit everyone once in a while. I actually called a supervisor once on the down low once to let them know and the guy didn't seem very worried and reluctantly took the info.
Last Christmas I ordered a very expensive DVD box set for my sister that they said they delivered and was signed for, and when I demanded the signature to see which of my employees signed for it they couldn't find it. The next day it was delivered without explanation or a requested signature and the Fed Ex guy asked one of my employees at the front desk why I called his supervisor and when she told him she wasn't aware of what transpired and asked if he wanted to talk to me and he just said, "no" and walked out. I'm pretty sure the Fed Ex had set it aside for himself and was just seeing if anyone made issue of it. We get Fed Ex deliveries everyday and I have never seen that guy again.
TheWulf 10-13-2009, 05:28 PM That really sucks dude; keep an eye out on all of the local car club message boards (yeah I know that's a lot in Cali) and classified sites / ebay.
That said, leaving something like this outside, especially in the front of your house where anyone can take it is not the smartest thing to do. Fedex pics up wherever you are so if you're not home, take them to work with you and tell them to come pick them up there, or tell them to come at another time when you are home. No reason to leave shit this expensive outside where anyone can take it.

Most of those forums will delete your posts. IMO it'd be better to watch to see if anyone posts up, otherwise the theif will just drop them locally or via PM. I'll keep a lookout
edit: Damn those would have looked good too!

YES fed ex people steal all the time..
I ordered my Coilovers Variant V3 and when i went to go pick them up they gave me a box and i didnt know what the package was like soo i accepted it and once i took it to the car i was like man this is tooo light..
i remoxed the outer box revealing a George foreman GRILL!!! soo i went back in and i told them this wasnt what i had ordered and the lady was like ohh that is between you and the seller... tha tis your item that was shipped.
She pointed to the box where someone wrote with a marker my address and name.
Then i showed them my door tag and i told them the number on the box did not match my door tag number... she braught her manager and they went int he back for like 15 minutes and then finally braught me a big box wih my coilovers in it..... Luckily for me i didnt have them deliver it to my house i scheduled for a in person pick up..

tournapart 10-13-2009, 09:07 PM Thanks man but these were stolen in San Luis Obispo, CA
your location says Houston, just to be fair
Eight 10-13-2009, 09:27 PM Man that sucks, it could of been someone who knew you were gonna leave them wheels out on the front porch, like the fedex guy.
And its not just fedex guys who steal UPS guys are just as bad. Especially with this economy.
Ross_Dawg 10-14-2009, 12:38 AM your location says Houston, just to be fair
Not to sound like a jackass but I said the location in the first sentence of the OP.

Darkpoison187 10-14-2009, 07:37 AM Damn this blow balls. From what I read yesterday I don't think anyone asked but I could be wrong. How many ppl knew the rims were gonna be out? About what time did you put the outside? Were the out in the open or have a sheet or something over them? And finally do u have any sketchy neighbors? Oh yeah just thought of this too do u get the paper delivered everyday?
Myardor 10-14-2009, 08:23 AM Darn, its time like this I wish we all had cameras recording whats going on outside.
Sorry, dude. Keep ur eyes on Craigslist, Ebay and any other place they might try to unload them.
Just yesterday a mom and son were caught trying to sell 10 cows they had stolen. The owner knew there was a sale going on in a town close by so he goes. Yes he recognizes his cows and BOOM they are caught.
So keep your eyes out for them.
Good Luck

What street did you live on in SLO? Also, I posted on Facebook to all my SLO friends and asked if anyone knows of someone selling some rims. Hopefully I'll get a reply for you. I only ask for your street to see if I know anyone around there that's shady..
Ross_Dawg 10-23-2009, 08:11 PM It was the Pine Creek Condos at the corner of Foothill and California... thanks for getting my back bro :)
rx 8speciale 10-24-2009, 02:18 AM suck when this happen . hope u get them back
TeamRX8 10-24-2009, 04:35 AM I'm not sure why anyone would leave their wheels/tires out overnight for FedEx to pickup when you can take them to any FedEx-Kinkos, drop them at the counter, and get a receipt :dunno:
Ross_Dawg 10-24-2009, 12:03 PM Thanks,
