SORRY WROTE THE TITLE WRONG!

If my 8 qualifies for a TSB, do I have to pay for it or does the Mazda dealership fix it for free?

For example, my left taillight gasket is leaking water, and according to http://www.finishlineperformance.com/pdf/rx8/bulletin/09-005-09-2055.pdf, "any VIN number lower than JM1 FE**** ** 203582 is an applicable model."

My VIN is identical, and the last 6 numbers are lower than 203582, so does that mean they fix it free of charge, or am I reading the TSB wrong?

If you're still under warranty then yes you will get your tailight gaskets replaced for free. Bring a copy of the TSB with you and call in advance so they're sure to have the parts before your appointment. Eve if you're out of warranty I've heard of this one being resolved at no cost.

In general however TSB's don't automatically qualify for free fixes. Some do, some don't.

Well I bought the car used, so I doubt I am still under warranty. But thank you for the help.
