I don't know if the cob unit will help but there doen't seem to be any other posible option for that avenue. There is also the idea of tapping the o2 senser into the pipe you are using instead of the cat. I haven't gotten that far yet but would like to know how you make out. good luck. dannobre 10-16-2009, 01:41 PM The CEL is because there is no CAT....the PCM expects the front WB and the after catalyst NB sensor to do certain things with the testing protocol the PCM uses.....when the PCM sees something it doesn`t like ( IE no CAT ;) ) it sets a CEL for poor Cat performance You can use the AP to mask the CEL ( ie ignore it ;) ) Or replace the CAT....either will get rid of the CEL..... There is no way too fool it like older OBD1 cars..... Gr8Bullet 10-16-2009, 02:13 PM CEL is due to no cat. cobb ap is your best bet. |
