Thumbs up Huge new set of Toyota FT86 pix. Looks like non-press release pics

Sweet set of pics. Some really nice touches on interior and exterior that the press pics from earlier this week didn't show. Hopefully other japanese manufacturers come back into the lightweight sports compact fold too.

Nice pictures, I really hope they keep that whole instrument cluster fairly close to how it is now. I know it's a bit over the top in its current form, but it would still look great with some traditional but slightly stylized analog gauges.

Looks pretty good. Definitely looks like they borrowed designs from the Civic, S2000, TT but doesn't look like an exact copy...unique I guess.

Hopefully they can put a decent engine in there

man, if only companies actually put out production cars that ACTUALLY looked like their concept cars.... i love all the cf accents.

its like the car companies say, "well, we could design nice cars, but we just prefer to sell ugly ones."

It looks okay. There are certain view where it looks great and then there are others where it doesn't. The interior is pretty gimmicky and basically needs to completely go away and be redesigned from scratch. Fortunately if that car ever does get built you can be sure this is what will probably happen. All of the carbon fiber is cool but its expensive and unecessary. We all know it wouldn't make it to production either.

I think the concept is neat and shows lots of neat design ideas but it's still got some things to work out. The straight side view looks awkward to me. The roof looks too tall. In another view I can see hints of Dodge Charger in the lines which I don't like. Overall not bad but definitely needs to be refined.

I definitely like where this is going... depending on stats, I wouldn't mind driving one.

I like the styling.. I just wish they would integrate the old school pop up headlights/hatchback style. like the old corollas/celicas/supras..

Very nice and I'll always have a soft spot for Toyota sportscars. I just wish manufacturers would get truly serious about carbon fiber and not just use it for cosmetics.

This all depends on whether they power this like the celica, or the old supra. I love the look of everything, but the rims.
