As some of you may know, I have a Forza Motorsport 3 fan site. Reviews are coming in, with scores like 9,4 out of 10 from IGN and 9,5 out of 10 from Team Xbox, it doesn't look like it will dissappoint.

There will be a montly car pack with about 10 cars for a whole year as DLC, many people have requested Mazda RX-3, 787b, Furai and such, so I'm hoping to see one of them.

Yea but it sucks...fully modded and tuned it's still uncontrollable.
Anijo 10-08-2009, 05:16 PM It's a little late now, the game went gold weeks ago so the copies are out to print. Besides, how many Quad rotors are there in existence? <10? <5? Granted there are 1-off prototypes in these games but it's just not a common mod/swap by any stretch of the imagination.

FORZA...im not gonna bash forza but...Just as an FYI... for alll the FORZA fans , Turn 10 says, they have made the best looking racing game this gen, did they forget that GT5P already beaten them to the punch :lol: LOL Wow.. I didnt know there was 2 FORZA threads... kinda ghey... but i guess ill post in both...

They have made the best racing game this gen... Because GT5P is a demo you have to pay for, and GT5 isn't coming until 2010.
Nice to see you swallow the Sony hype machine though, even Polyphony are embarrassed by them :)

The entirety of the Forza series has been released between GT4 and GT 5. I'm sure GT5 is going to be the best game... of 2011 :lol:

but beside that its the best racing game.
I have lost count for a long time ago how many hours I have beaten my Grand am GT250 RX-8 replica on nürburgring, leca raceway etc.. can't wait for FIII that will be great.

And about the 3 rotor upgrade...in real life, is this 3 rotor engine as slow as it is in the game??? Im playing Forza 2 now and I got a 3rd gen rx7 with the 3rotor with suspension upgrades...all stock transmission and 3rotor engine...and its F'ing slow! powerwise...its pretty slow. gets through the track beautifully of course. I havent done engine upgrades because I use it for the semi pro races
neXib 10-10-2009, 06:10 AM Slow? Have you looked at the speedo? And half of the Forza deal is that tires are important, so once you got the best tires, if the car is still undrivable, you've upgrade it too much :)

U had a choice of like 10 different mileage rx7's to choose from, it was awesome! and U had to work for things...I remember playing for hours til I could afford an upgrade. Forza's far too easy to get cars and money.

Licensing. Wikipedia says they actually made 300 Mazdaspeed v.1 and v.2's in Japan, but I have no idea if it's true. Anyway, I'm sure they licensed it for future games when they got it for the first games, and it would add cost to relicense the american RX-8 now. But they did add the normal MX-5 1,8 for instance.
Their policy was that they want a mix of the basic cars that you can upgrade to perfection (like the 1,8 94 MX-5) or the ultimate version of a car (like the spirit-r rx-7).

:evil_laug please...IM just getting a head start on GT5p so when GT5 officially comes out, im no NOOB. $25 for GT5p isnt bad so ....GTFO. If its not your money Im wasting then STFU. (in a nice way)

But - as many players have already noticed in the Xbox Live demo - as soon as you start a race detail drops significantly. And while some of the Italian rocky landscapes look nice, some of the normal race circuits look really dull and not very different from the outdated-looking Forza 2.
The car interiors too, disappointingly, look a bit too grey and plastic-y. Forza 3 certainly doesn't live up to Gran Turismo in the in-game visual stakes.
