I have an AT 04 RX8 and I just hit 37k.......I went to park at work this morning and my gear is stuck at "P"!!! I cant go to different gears like "R" "N" "D" etc.......WTF happened? Please respond

Is the engine running? If not your steering wheel is locked, turn the key as your forcefully turn the steering wheel left or right.

Yes the engine is running......its stuck when the car is both on and off

Most AT have a switch on the brake pedal to make sure your foot it when you move the shifter. There could be an issue with that, parking on a steep incline can also cause the shifter to get stuck.
