Search and you will find that many people are happy with them.
All spring installs for the 8 are the same.
The BEST springs is a subjective topic, one would argue how Teins are superior and then another would argue how Racing Beat is better.

Is this your first spring install? If it is then I recommend you bringing it to a shop.
The DIY's picture links are dead, spring installs are relatively easy that is if you know how to do it it.
Tools required:
Sockets: 12mm, 14mm, 16mm, 17mm, 19mm
A Spring Compressor (clamp type)
A breaker bar and some WD-40 or Liquid Wrench for those seized on bolts.
Remember to preload the car.
Make sure you'll get an alignment.

Why do people say DYI... it's DIY... unless there is some other term I am not familiar with?

DYI - Do yourself in, or doing yourself in. Not to be confused with DIY..
"Wow, you're really gonna DYI wearing that."
"You're wasted after two drinks, but totally DYI after ten."

I see.
Well in the context of this forum post. I believe DIY is more appropriate. haha

Well it would be my first spring install but I have taken off a spindle and the hub and also I know a decent amount about cars.

I got Tanabe GF 210 on Koni Yellows. Good setup and I like the drop. They could be stiffer, but I really don't think you'll get a really aggressive stiffness without coilovers. I did the DYI :lol2: myself, it was my first time doing suspension on the car and it took a while but it is doable.
