PLs. help me how to install it to my front bumper eccles 01-10-2004, 10:52 AM I'll assume you have the necessary bracket for the front plate, but are wondering how it attaches to the grill. If you don't have the bracket, go get it from your dealer - it should have come with the car. If you do, then you need to drill two holes in the grill to reveal the captive nuts that it bolts to. If you look closely, you will see that several of the recessed diamonds in the grill have small dimples in them - these are the ones that contain nuts. Hold your bracket up to the grill and it will become apparent which two you need to drill (there are more than two because overseas plates are of different sizes). Once you've identified them, carefully drill through to reveal the nuts below. You may find it helpful to wrap some tape around your drill bit about 1/2" from the tip to prevent drilling in too far and mangling the nut threads. Only the top two legs of the bracket use bolts - the bottom leg uses a self-tapping screw which does not require any drilling.
