Up for sale is my beautiful 1980 Leather Sport,which is located in norhtern OH. the price is $3700/obo this car is one of 500 Solar Gold LS's manufactured in 1980. this amazing car just turned 61,000 miles last summer and i am the second owner. the car was originally sold new in new york and now has a clear ohio title. i do have a copy of the original title from when the car was purchased new in 1980 that goes with the car. this car is truely unique and is in very nice shape.
the interior of this RX-7 is in beautiful condition. the leather seats are beautiful and the dash is outstanding. the only flaw is that the sunroof wind deflector has a large burn mark in it from the previous owner. the 12A starts and runs like new and the 5 speed transmission shifts perfectly with no grinding. the muffler has seen better days but the car is not loud. everything works on this car, including the original a/c! the tires are in great shape and have only 4000 miles on them!

the clutch was replaced prior to me taking posession of the car in 2003 along with the tires. since then, i have replaced the front brake pads, rear shoes, rear wheel cylinders, plugs (NGK) wires (NGK), battery, and the air filter. the a/c is fully functioning and everything works on the car! i have meticulously maintained the car as it is the jewl in my collection. there is no underbody or wheel well rust. the car has some deep scratches on the hood and driver's headlight from the previous owner as well as one deep scratch behind the driver's door. there are two small rust spots by the passenger side tail light and a rust spot in the hatch channel. there is a small rust bubble on the right rear panel behind the tire and a crease in the metal near the antenna. there is a small amount of rust on the fender's underside lip and some minor rust starting on the inner door bottoms. the paint appears original and shines brightly but does show some minor dings and scratches. i also have recently replaced the rear wheel, pinion, and carrier bearings. the car is completely driveable and is really a nice car. i really don't want to sell the car but due to another baby, the car has to go. don't miss out on this opportunity to own this extremely collectable RX-7. if you have any questions please feel free to call me on my cell at 440-371-5332, my name is Dave. please feel to ask any questions or request additional pictures. test drives are welcome but are by appointment only, as i work 12 hour nights.

what i originally htought to be rear wheel bearings was actually differential bearings. i am in the process of rebuilding the rear diff. should be done early next week.

the differential has been rebuilt with new carrier and pinion bearings. will post pics tonight.
