Twix is delicious but I rise in support of this gentleman's point of order.

Also i believe the 3 musketeers to be superior to other nougat filled candy bars- including milky way but not necessarily the dark chocolate milky way. I suggest a tasting is in order for confirmation.

I was waiting for the 3 Musketeers. I also rather enjoy the mint version. Milky way is one of the worst sorry. Twix are good, but because snickers icecream bars are ten fold better then the twix version of the icecream bar, then I must say snickers out does twix.

its close for me between a twix (original or peanut butter), take 5, and reeses big cups. has to be the big cup though. the pb to chocolate ratio is precise. take 5s are only good if im in a pretzel mood. twix are good for bfast, lunch, dinner, or 4th meal as taco says.

Bart Simpson likes Butterfingers and Hellboy like's Baby Ruth, but sales suggests the general public likes Hershy bars...

For us who take the road less traveled, I like the Mozart Marzipan bars from Germany. Also the totally decadent Mo's Dark Bacon Bar produced by Vosages Haut Chocolate - it's made from Applewood smoked bacon, Alderwood smoked salt, and 62% cacao dark chocolate.

Kendalls Mint Cakes "accompanied every great expedition" taste nasty at sea level but are great at high altitude...

And if you are ever in wine country - try those little chocolate covered dried fruit thingys they sell at the wineries made with merlot or cab. The Apricot ones are really good....

I'm going to have to say the venerable Reese's Peanut Butter cup. You just can't improve it unless of course you get the nutty version and then eat it chilled. Then it's perfect. You just can't add anything to peanut butter to make it better unless of course it's peanuts which is fine since that's what peanut butter is made from. You can add peanut butter to a Twix to improve it but that's only because Twix wasn't quite up to par on it's own and needed the help. It's good. It's just not that good.

Nothing makes peanut butter better but peanut butter makes everything better. Hmmm... what about bacon? Everything is also better with bacon. Peanut butter/bacon bars. That there might be the ultimate man food! Deep fry it and oh mama that would be the perfect death!

Give me a jar of crunchy peanut butter and a spoon and I'm happy. It needs nothing. It is SO good that not only can it standalone as it's own independent food, but it can also be it's own candy bar or even compliment nearly any other food. Still pondering the bacon thing though! Twix isn't good enough to be anything other than 1 thing and it compliments nothing. Peanut butter ftw which by default means Reeses! I've never seen a Twix and Jelly sandwhich.

The same stand that was selling deep fried Snickers bars was selling deep fried Twinkies as well. They had a few other ridiculous things too...


Tangent from candy bars, but if you've never tried it, deep fried ice cream is one of the most amazing things you'll ever taste. You make a ball out of ice cream then freeze it solid, cover it in honey then roll it in corn flakes and re-freeze it then drop it in a deep frier for 1 min.

What comes out is sweet and crunchy on the outside and full of ice cream on the inside which is still cold and the right consistency!

taco bell used to carry them. went through drive-thru one day specifically for one and found out they no longer carried them. it was one of those drive-thru's where there is no way out without going through the entire line. so ended up wasting about 10 min of my life stuck in a line with no chocotaco =(
