Oddly enough, out of everything he did, I liked him best in his most recent work, the TV show The Beast. Swayze's death comes as a surprise to no one. He smoked 5+ packs a day, often smoking between takes for a single scene, yet it was stomach cancer that eventually claimed him. Still, seeing people like him die makes me feel a little older (and I'm pretty young at 24).

Yeah, its weird seeing people who were acting when you were born, just start to drop. I grew up listening to Barry White (I'm 22), and when he passed it hurt. I remember watching Ghost millions of times (Aunts favorite movie), He will truly be missed.

Lot of people dying this year man...my 2 uncles...MJ...the infomercial guy...one of my boys...swayze...

I didn't know he died until yesterday. Fuck, I knew the hour it was released when MJ died.

I was at work, and someone from New York City called for support, and the first thing out of her mouth. "Did you hear Michael Jackson is dead?"

This I had to learn off some guy on another forum who posted it like "I figured it would have been posted by now!"

Yeah my girl woke me up randomly to tell me he died....I'm like why are you awake?, but seriously sucks the amount of death this year. Seems like a rather massive famous death year. I think the economy got to them.
