car revs up and down and almost stalls, cel no power below 4k

I have a 04 mazda rx8 that has 110 on it and I cant get the thing to run right. when I got it everything seemed fine for about 4 hours then the check engine light came on. took it to the mazda dealer hooked it up to the computer said it was a bad cat. Turned out it was gutted, I but a stock cat on and then It started to lack power... and I was told it was the coils so I replaced them still same problem. I then replaced the plugs (with "good" used ones) and the wires (with used ones) same problem. It wants to die sometimes when you are starting in first gear and whenever you get below 3-4k. I checked the air pump and the circuit doesnt seem to be getting power, Fuse is ok. I know this might be some of the problem but what else? I am worried that the cat I just put in is dammaged b/c of the bad coils but I dont understand why the car feels the same with the coils as it did before. I am hurting for cash right now so I cant just keep throwing money at it on things that It might not be. Please help.

your neutral switch is bad, plus you might wanna confirm if Recall 4206 was done to your car.
