Hi DragonStar4681, actually I did try Tirerack.com, and yes, they don't have much to offer. In fact, they're pretty straight forward on pricing (pretty expensive), and they don't offer larger or wider size rims. Some of the rims they have I can get much cheaper, but not that I want them.

I'm looking for SSR, Volk, Tenzo, etc... which they'll never carry.

Thanks for the info though =)

Check out www.whalentire.com. They usually have good deals.

I was originally going to go to tirerack.com for tires, but I knew they were short and I thought I'd help my local economy. I went to one of the longest standing tire dealers around here and they offered me basically the same Blizzak (sp) and rim offers as tirerack for less and for some reason they asked me to come back once I get my spoiler installed and some of this winter stuff rewashed off to get some pictures.

Maybe because it's an RX-8 :) :)

So don't be afraid to ask around town. They even installed it for me. 1300 total out the door

also eye sites like groupbuycenter.com most ads will be honda-centric but they have some good deals there, there is usually one shop called import-hookup that has good deals on nice brands of wheels (volk, gram lights, 5zigen, etc)

Be nice to your car and don't buy it a set of Tenzo's. Cheap wheels, but shitty quality. You get what you pay for.

Maybe someone could help me and direct me to some websites that has pictures of nice wheels. It'll help me make a decision.

Thanks.

I wouldn't try Island Motorsports... I USE to go there, and everytime I went, it was installed with half-ass effort. I had my speakers messed up there, and also they used a glue-gun to seal my rear struts around the corner. Uhmmm.. when I saw that, I was like.. nm, I'll do it myself, give my money back. This was around 3 years ago when I last went. Maybe they have new owner/new workers.. because as of before, they were terrible.

Go to Discount Tire in El Monte. They are an authorized Volk/Rays Engineering dealer. Ask for Vic. And just remember, STAY AWAY FROM BRANDS LIKE TENZO, KONIG ETC............

8 is enough
