The Service Bulletin for the TPMS states that a warning buzzer goes off when aftermarket wheels are used without the wheel sensors. Is there a switch to shut this off? I'm planning on 17" wheels with snows.

Basically, if you don't use the sensors a light flashes on your dash - no buzzer. If you have the sensors and a tire is out of spec, you will get a tone/ding/buz once and the light will come on. But people have successfully put on wheels without sensor and all they have to deal with is the sensor light flashing. Some have reported that it eventually stays on. But there is no buzzing. Do the search. Read the threads. RX-GR8 01-08-2004, 06:01 PM Originally posted by Positron Do a search on sensors. This has been discussed a lot.
