Hi guys,

I was getting my double DINN stereo installed, and ran into some troubles. Apparently the metra kit doesnt support aussie version cars as the middle modes work, the fan speed and temperature controls arnt working. Currently stuck trying to get the aussie adapter, does anyone know where i can get one, or if it even exist's?

The Metra kit doesn't support Climate Control. Not sure the other options do. I have listed the other options a few times on the .com.au forum, would dig them up but I am heading out the door.

argh, i left my metra kit in there. I wont have the aussie version HVAC adapter for atleast another fortnight. I left the climate on like 23degrees and now its like boiling inside the car and i cant turn the fan off lol..

Any ideas on how i could reset it so the fans off or turn the heating off?

Do you mind telling us where you got the aussie HVAC adapter from?

dont have the aussie hvac yet. but you can get a kanatech one its like $700(without steering wheel controls) bucks cheapest i found from audioexpress. some company located in queensland.

Still got my metra sitting in there, it seems to turn the heater on randomly which I'll probably just pull the fuse out till i get HVAC working. Definitely before the high 20's weather arrives.

tell me how it goes wen u get the HVAC adaptor! i recent screwed my stereo module up and ive been driving for a week or so without music and a/c lol...was planning to get the metra kit but held back on it coz of our auto a/c. so you bought the metra kit and also the kanatech kit?
also would u be willing to sell ur OEM stereo?
