I would like to setup a BB to share questions and info from coworkers located at several plants, and I need some advice from those technically inclined web people here.

As I see it, i could:

1) Pay for a "gold" ad free service from an online source. Costs money.

2) Set up a PHPBB on the web services part of my DSL account. I believe it supports PHP and SQL, and I have a friend that could possibly assist with setup. Would require a lot of time and research on my part.

3) Ask our corporate IT department to do it. Would involve paperwork and probably take way to long. And in the end, I would probably have to go through them for any admin.

4) Unknown options provided by the readers here.
