Hey guys,

I just got a CEL like a few days ago and I was wondering if anyone could help me out here. Been on for like two days, and I changed my oil like earlier this week, and replaced my air filter as well. Resetted ECU, and it went away, but came back the next day. I asked some dude at my local dealer, and he said could be the gas cap. What do you guys think?

Just take it autozone and they will read it for free. Then research the code with google and tell us

Apparantly they don't do free CEL code checks ne more, but this guy did it for me for like 20 bucks. totally beats 150 at the stealership lol. seemed like I needed to get a new gas cap woot.

I dont know if this is common knowledge but Pep boys will do CEL codes for free.

 

went there, they charge 90 bucks.

 

damn dude, if they charge in your area than it would be a good idea to just get your own code reader. It will make itself more than worth the investment.
