By the way, about a year ago or whatever the hell it was, I was at an LA club called The Firm. Hugh Hefner and a bunch of blondes came in to celebrate his birthday. Surprisingly, those women looked old and skanky (I guess he didn't bring in the Grade AAA eggs), yet they were all hotter than Britney. You ever notice Britney's legs? LOL. I like how in that Pepsi Marilyn Monroe commercial they try to hide Britney's legs by making her spin and flashing the camera every 100 milliseconds. From the knee down, her legs are atrocious.

Well, first of all, Paris actually has LEGS.

Britney is definitely white trash. Have you seen her mom and rest of the family on TV? White trash is not the same as trashy. White trash is a psycho-physical phenomenon. And I strongly feel it can not be explained by nutritional differences alone.

Here in the Los Angeles and surrounding areas, we have what are called Riverside and San Bernardino Counties. As you drive east from Los Angeles or Orange County, you see a gradual increase in white trash phenotypic markers. It's the most amazing thing. Another way to observe the gradation is, within one area, to go from Nordstrom to Target to Wal Mart.

Have fun with your naturalistic observations.

I'm aware of the "white trash" phenotypic markers you mention, and agree Miss Spears appears to share some of those qualities. I respect her ability to rise up from what should have been a disabling socioeconomic background, with admittedly limited talent, to become one of the most marketed and successful women in the world.

She has both natural and enhanced secondary sexual characteristics which happen to appeal to my personal tastes, which tend toward fit but not overly skinny women. Paris is certainly more attractive, but you have to respect Brit for not revealing her personal assets as indiscriminately.

Britney seems to have a certain "girl-next-door" quality that is endearing and slightly sexy. Probably manufactured to some degree, but still present.

BTW, are you aware of the tooth-to-tattoo ratio we jokingly use as a "white trash" marker down in these parts? She doesn't fit the bill by those criteria.

I really am not a Britney freak, I really could care less, but I do like a good discussion.

Let me explain something. Some of the most beautiful women are from the South. If you visit Vanderbilt University (Nashville) or Emory University (Atlanta), it is unbelievable. Southern belles are NOT hicks or white trash. Furthermore, a hick is not necessarily white trash.

I'm really glad you said this - I was just thinking tonight how this forum has noticeably evolved over the past several months into something broader and better than it was. I see less animosity, and more acceptance of other people's senses of humor and points of view. The people on this forum, particularly some of the Lounge regulars, seem to be really cool laid back people.
