Do you take off your shoes when you drive? I know some people need to feel the pedals when they drive...especially MT cars.

As for me I drive with whatever is on my feet. Dress shoes on work days, rubber slippers or running shoes on non-work days and during off hours.

Living in Florida, I'm usually wearing sandals. I take those off when I drive, so I'm usually barefoot. However, during the Winter I'm often wearing shoes, those stay on.

Usually just normal shoes, though some shoes are easier to heel-toe in than others.

Normally for me its whatever I happen to be wearing(boots dress shoes, tennis shoes etc..)... but I do have a pair of DocMartin dress shoes(work) that make feeling the pedals a nightmare. It then becomes more of a muscle memory thing than a feeling when I am in those shoes.. I am tempted to wear some thin soled moccasins from now on though!

Top siders normally, but on long trips with cruise on, I usually slip out of them to get a little more comfy.

When I go for a serious drive I select shoes with a smooth thin sole, preferabley thin rubber, with rounded sides and no heel. Hard to find these days, as most of these types of shoes have all kinds of fancy gizmo blocks etc. on them. I'd get racing shoes but they are rather expensive.

I bought a pair of Adidas Samba indoor soccer shoes... very good feel and you can actually wear them to do other things unlike racing shoes

Steel toed combat boots for me most of the time When I'm not in uniform it is usually tennis shoes, sandals, or Sketcher boots. The only time I've driven her without shoes is when I'm moving her to give her a bath.

i bought the speedcats as well...but before i would wear pilotis or my adidas Monaco GPs. they are replicas of the 1970s F1 race shoe. they even have "Goodyear" on the sides, and the F1-GS D3 tread on the soles.

i am a sucker for shoes.

santino

i could not pull off the bright red, so i got the lo-top black ones.

Believe it or not, this has been discussed before here. I'm sure we can get a MOD to merge the threads.

9 times out of 10 a pair of flight boots to and from work. Other than that a pair of New Balance's or top siders.

What are you talking about? I was trying to be helpful and point you to more discussion on the same topic. Did you not want to read responses to the question, or do you just like to watch yourself post? And I don't believe a sugar-coated marshmallow treat is capable of liking anything. Obviously I have interest in thread, or I wouldn't have posted a response 2 months ago. BTW the Reaction sneakers have been working out beautifully. I now wear them just about every chance I get.

Converse Chuck Taylors, light, thin rubber, and thin width, easy to shift. But I'm like Mr. Rogers, if it's rainy or something I carry boots, and change in the car.
